MAGGIE’S is an all-natural, from-scratch kitchen that uses local, organic and non-GMO ingredients. We strive to use only seasonal foods sourced locally for the best taste from the ground to the plate.  In September 2012, Food Network Magazine voted Maggie’s Avocado Melt Wrap, “The Best Sandwich in Nebraska”.

Our menu changes with the seasons. The ingredients in our fritatta and roasted veggie melt will change depending on what’s fresh locally. It may be fresh spring asparagus, summertime heirloom tomatoes, a fall swiss chard or wintertime butternut squash. Your tastebuds will appreciate the freshness of the harvest sourced from Nebraska family farms.

Our passion for healthy food is not restricted to the kitchen.  We are active in influencing and aligning with sustainable principles and food policies that guide the agricultural industry.  Maggie is one of the founding members of Slowfood Nebraska and has travelled to Italy to the Terra Madre conference as a delegate of Nebraska.

In November 2007, Maggie co-wrote “Dueling Chefs: A Vegetarian and Meat Lover Debate the Plate,” which is now in its second printing.  A mouthwatering and jovial “he said, she said” cookbook for both the carnivore and the vegetarian.  Click on the picture below to purchase.
